When Shouldn't I Work with Hope Primas & Associates?

Consider These Questions BEFORE You Call:

  1. Do you have an idea about what you want to achieve?
The best way to start working with Hope Primas & Associates is to have a basic idea of what you need to accomplish and then use our expertise to help shape the focus and outcomes of your project.

2. Have you involved the right people in deciding to take on the project?
Think about key staff, board members and/or volunteers who will be affected by the outcome. Bringing in these key decision makers early on ensures that everyone will have a stake in the

project and that you will get the most from our services.

3.  Do the key board, staff and volunteers have time to commit to make the project successful?
If you are thinking of starting a capital campaign for a new office building and most of your staff, volunteers and board are working to pull off a major special event, now would not be the time to engage in this type of time-intensive campaign. Keep in mind that Hope Primas & Associates cannot work in a vacuum. We need appropriate access to key decision makers to make our engagement effective. You, your staff and volunteers have to be accessible in person, or by telephone or email, when we need information or help.

4.  Have you set aside money to pay a consultant or independent contractor?
Professional services cost money. You need to budget beforehand for a possible consultation. For example, if you and your board have decided that you will undertake a comprehensive strategic planning process,  you should start now and discuss with us about possible costs so that you can work this into your budget .

An Important Note:
It’s good to allow at least three to four weeks before you'd expect the project to begin. This timeframe will ensure that we will be able to prepare for your project and give you the attention you need.
